Tempting Fine-Dining

In the words of Virginia Woolf, “one cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well”… and Valentine’s Day can provide the perfect excuse to treat that special someone to an evening of fine-dining. Located within the five-star surroundings of our hotel, Dom Duarte Restaurant will be offering some of the most mouth-watering dishes in the Algarve this February. Created by award-winning Executive Head Chef, Luis Filipe Batalha, its menu will offer fusion Mediterranean cuisine inspired by centuries of Portuguese exploration.

Using exotic spices and the finest ingredients, Batalha’s contemporary creations are set to include the likes of lobster salad with smoked watermelon and parsnip ice cream, alongside a mouth-watering roasted rack of lamb in an almond and fig crust. Cutting his teeth in Michelin-starred restaurants and leading luxury resorts, he accrued many Gold Prizes and the title of ‘Innovation Chef of the Year’ before joining the Dona Filipa team. Needless to say that our renowned chef is used to delivering truly unforgettable dining experiences. Dinner will be served from 7pm, which can be followed by a nightcap in the elegant surroundings of Duques Lounge Bar, where guests can sip on cocktails while listening to live music.

Luxurious Spa Experiences

Guests seeking a laidback Valentine’s experience can enjoy access to the renowned Vale do Lobo Royal Spa with special rates. Located just 500 metres from our five-star hotel, its calming surroundings are inspired by Loulé’s salt mines, which are renowned for their health benefits. Take the opportunity to relax back in its Turkish Bath, sauna and Jacuzzi, take a dip in the pool… or simply admire views over lush green gardens from deluxe loungers.
